Our Services

The Caring Home Services Program (CHS) supports older adults with their activities of daily living within select Catholic Charities Senior Communities, so they may continue to age in place successfully.

The CHS program is offered at nine of our senior communities, listed below. Services include daily meals served in a group setting, weekly housekeeping, laundry, and personal services, and service management provided by the on-site CHS Supervisor. In addition to the CHS Supervisor, the on-site CHS team consists of Resident Associates who deliver services Monday through Friday.

Eligibility, Fees & Enrollment

Eligibility & Fees

The Caring Home Services Program is a Congregate Housing Services Program of the Maryland Department of Aging (MDoA). Applicants must be 62 years or older. An assessment is required as part of the enrollment process.

Participants pay a monthly fee for CHS services, in addition to their rent. Several packages offer a subsidy provided by the MDoA. The CHS Supervisor will review the applicant’s income, assets, and medical expenses to determine subsidy eligibility and monthly amount.

If you are currently a resident of one of the locations listed below, ask to speak with your Caring Home Services (CHS) Program Supervisor. Services are only available to residents within the communities listed below.

If you are not currently residing in one of the locations listed below, please visit the Senior Communities webpage to apply or call 667-600-2280. On the application for housing, please check off “Yes” to the question regarding your interest in the Caring Home Services Program.
